1. Male Nursing Scholarship (SSACI)

This scholarship is open to all male students who reside in Indiana and are officially enrolled in any of the accredited Indiana school of Nursing.

A GPA of 2.0 and a paid application form are needed to qualify. The selection process is handled by the State Student Assistance Commission.

 

2. The American Assembly for Men in Nursing 

They offer scholarships to members of AAMN. A $500 scholarship is offered to six pre-licensed male students taking a licensed nursing program leading to NCLEX-RN eligibility. Applicants simply have to submit an essay entitled “Why I Chose Nursing as a Career.”

 

3. Malcolm P. Adcock Memorial Scholarship 

You should belong to a minority and currently enrolled in a high school within Hoxworth, Cincinnati with a minimum GPA of 2.5 to qualify.

A 30- minute video promoting blood donation to minority communities is also required. It awards a total amount of $1000 for each deserving scholars.

 

4. Charles Kunz Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship

This is offered by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) and was established in 2005. To qualify, you should be an ENA member for a year and must be enrolled in an AACN or NLN accredited school with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The scholarship is worth $3000.

 

5. The National Student Nurses’ Association Foundation

The foundation awards $1000 to $2000 yearly scholarships to a group of nursing students. Applicants should be taking no less than 6 credits per semester and must have documents proving financial status and achievement awards.

This is open to students who are active members of nursing organizations and participate in community health activities.

 

6. AACN BSN Scholarship

It awards $1500 each quarter to a student who is presently enrolled in a nursing program. The selection is handled by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

 

7. AORN Student Scholarship

The Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) grants this scholarships to nursing students who are enrolled in NLNAC- or CCNE-accredited nursing programs. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required and the amount of scholarship depends on the results of the assessment done by the reviewing committee.

 

8. Francis L. More Scholarship

This scholarships awards $2000 to any member of the National Student Nurses Association. Applicants should provide an essay, documents of financial capacity and current transcript of records. Moreover, they should have a 3.0 GPA and serve as good role models to other nursing students.

 

9. Dr. Lauranne Sams Scholarship

Applicant must be a member of the National Black Nurses Association and only have one academic year left to fulfill. Criteria for selection also includes excellent academic record, financial capacity and community health involvement. The financial assistance is worth $2000.

 

10. ENA Foundation CEN Undergraduate Scholarship 

The ENA Foundation awards $2000 to any undergraduate who is an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association for at least 12 months. Interested applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must be attending AACN, NLN or CCNE accredited schools.
