What a great question to introduce a groudbreaking video made by Ausmed Education.
Nurses, especially in the Philippines, are often misunderstood and taken for granted by patients, doctors, and the general population alike. Blame it on overpopulation of registered nurses or the government’s lack of appreciation for our modern Florence Nightingales, but our nurses clearly deserve MORE than what they get today. They handle precious human lives on a daily basis along with other overwhelming stressors on the side. But what do they get? I hope that this video will touch people’s lives in one way or another and start to appreciate nurses and their true value in the medical profession and in our society as a whole.
Nurses are abused. Nurses are exploited. Nurses are neglected. Nurses care. WE SHOULD CARE.
